Anise (Star Anise)

Anise is an herb used to support meditation, encourage prophetic dreams, spiritual development, and for protection spells, especially spiritual and auric protection. In rites of passage, it gives direction to the soul so that one can connect with their highest purpose. If you want to explore and increase your divination practice, use Anise to enhance it by putting it on your altar, connecting it to a pendulum, or use it as a wash for your ritual tools. You can also add Anise to a bath prior to a meditation or add it to a dream pillow. Anise can also be used as a charm to ward off the evil eye, and strung together you can make a wreath for your door.
